Hey, so, you know that dialog tutorial I've been promising forever?

... And might be a little late, considering some recent developments re: the modding tools! Hm.

But, look, I've been working really, really hard on this, for a long time. And I'm really proud of the work I did!! So, I'm sharing it anyway.

To do so, I've put together a collection of annotated sample mods, to demonstrate different aspects of the Baldur's Gate 3 dialog system—including how to make new dialog from scratch.

This includes new cutscenes! Like the entirely new romance scene I made for Wyll.

  Keep in mind these methods are for XML dialog editing! They're not related to the BG3 Modding Toolkit.

  All of the information here was gathered by editing the files on the XML level. I haven't had a chance to look through the tools, much, actually. Many apologies for getting accepted into the modding tools alpha and then just, never downloading them! I was very grateful to be accepted into the alpha, but ended up delaying downloading them until I published my research on dialog files.
