📋 About This Mod

Credit and thanks to Faragi for the original Wifi Potions. The mod name is in homage to it.

Since I discovered that mod, it has been staple in all my runs. However, it suffers from a major issue. Potions can be thrown even when the party has none of that tier in their inventory. This means you can throw a Supreme Healing Potion to get healed even in the Nautiloid.

I was initially thinking of patching it, but when looking at the code, I realised it was a bit old and had a few other issues, like not immediately re-granting the Wifi Potion when thrown or dropped. Therefore I ended up writing the mod fully from scratch to fix all the above and more:

  • []Once you run out of potions, the Wye Fey from that tier will become uninteractable. Meaning, you cannot throw it or double-click it. You can, however, move it around your inventory or drag and drop it on the ground (but cannot be destroyed or picked up).[/]

[]Assuming you drop a Wye Fey Potion, it will be granted back automatically. No need for saving/reloading.[/]

[]If you end up sending a Wye Fey Potion to another party member's inventory, it will be re-granted and the one that was moved will be deleted.[/]

[]Each party member will have one Wye Fey Potion of each tier at all times. Synced with the total number of potions (including bags/containers) of that tier in the party's inventory.[/]

[]The count (number of stacks) will always be accurate, no matter if your drink, throw, drop, buy, sell, etc,...[/]

[]That means even when companions join or leave the party![/]

[]Fully inherits from base game healing potions, making it compatible with any mod making changes to them.[/]

[]Finally, the code should be much lighter and more performant overall.[/]

There are also four console commands you can run (ctrl+f12 by default):

!nzwf_add <small|greater|superior|supreme> : To add amount of potions of the type specified (1 if no number provided).

!nzwf_count: Prints every party member with their uuid as well as all the Why Fey Potions and base game potions in their inventories.

!nzwf_destroy: Destroy all the Why Fey Potions in the party's inventories.

!nzwf_give: Opposite of the above. Gives a Why Fey Potion of each tier to every party member and syncs the stacks with the total number of its associated potions.

    Installation

Drop the .zip into BG3MM or download with Vortex. Load order doesn't matter. It is save safe and thus can be safely added or removed mid-playthrough.

Make sure you have this set to load after BOTH any mod modifying the base game healing potions (like [color=#7865

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Wye Fey Potions is a gameplay mod that gives every party member a potion of each tier, all linked to the party's total pool. It's a successor to Wifi Potions, offering a streamlined potion system for parties. With 34 endorsements and 1,473 downloads, it's a niche but functional mod for players seeking unified potion management.

✨ Key Features

Grants every party member a potion of each tier.
All potions are linked directly to the party's total pool.
Serves as a successor to the Wifi Potions mod.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Streamlines potion management by linking all potions to one pool—no more juggling individual inventories.
  • Successor to Wifi Potions, so it builds on a proven concept with likely improvements.
  • Active development (last updated July 2026) and a modest but real following (34 endorsements).

⚠️ Cons

  • Low endorsement count (34) means it's not widely tested—expect potential bugs or balance issues.
  • May conflict with other potion-related mods since it overhauls the potion system.
🎯 Is This For You?
For party-based RPG players who hate micromanaging individual potion inventories and want a unified pool. Skip if you prefer granular control over each character's consumables or if you're running other potion overhaul mods.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Check if the mod requires a specific game version or DLC—since the description is thin, verify compatibility before installing.
  • If you're using other mods that alter potions, load this one last to avoid conflicts.
  • Test in a new save or backup your current one, as potion pool changes can affect balance.
