📋 About This Mod
Ever run into food that you wish you could use because it was spoiled? Rotten? Poisoned? This mod adds a magic cauldron to the game that will convert food that is spoiled, rotten, poisoned, or partially eaten into usable camp supplies.
Utilizing this mod is very simple. Once you have obtained the cauldron, "Cauldron of Purification," you simply add the food item into the slot and press "combine." The result will be a non-spoiled, non-rotten, non-poisoned, or non-eaten (depends on what was placed in the slot) version of the target food item, which can now be used as camp supplies.
The "Cauldron of Purification" can be obtained in the tutorial chest on the Nautiloid as well as any trader in the game.
Installation
Installing this mod is very easy, but I have only tested this with BGMM. Start BGMM and do the following:
-
[]Download the main file
[
]In BGMM Click File > Import Mod[]Select the mod from your downloads folder
[]Drag the mod over from Inactive Mods to Active Mods
Compatibility
The only issue with this mod that could arise is that if you install it during a play-through, the cauldron may not show up on traders if you have traded with them before unless you have ModFixer installed, which should fix that issue. Aside from that, removing the mod during a play-through could cause issues such as not being able to load the save without the mod installed. This is the case with most mods that add items.
I am open to suggestions for improving this or any other mod I have published. I am also currently trying to upscale my modding abilities, so I will take mod requests.

- Small but dedicated following (41 endorsements) suggests it works as advertised.
- Simple concept, no bloat—just a cauldron that does one job.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 41 endorsements—might be under-tested or overlooked.
- No mention of where to find the cauldron or how to craft it—could be a hunt.

For survival players who hate wasting food and want a convenient way to recycle spoiled goods. Skip if you're not into magic utilities or if you rarely deal with rotten food.
