The Pale Devil - Tiefling Astarion

This Mod changes Astarion’s race, turning him into a Variant Tiefling with custom visuals and gameplay.

It was inspired by his design during Baldur’s Gate 3’s early development, where he was indeed a Tiefling.

Visual Changes

Astarion is now a simple Tiefling, including everything that comes along with such a change - ridges and nubs on his infernal

body, clawed hands and feet, horns, and a tail. His overall appearance, however, is kept close to his original design.

The Pale Devil - Original Version

This primary version is kept as close as possible to his original design.

His colors - including his skin and hair - are precisely as they are in basegame BG3. His eyes have gained subtle glow, but otherwise remain unchanged.

His facial textures have been blended with Tiefling textures at the neck and forehead to avoid seaming, but otherwise remain as

close as possible to the Astarion you know (and potentially love), with dark circles, neck scarring, and uneven cupid’s bow.

The most important aspects of his body textures - namely the scars on his back - have been blended into the standard Tiefling

body textures. Additionally, some issues with Tiefling textures have been addressed, such as smearing on their side, and splotching in certain spots.

His face mesh has been transferred over to fit the Tiefling body by ghouls0rules with only very minimal changes to his neck seam and forehead

to avoid seaming and accommodate for the horns he’s gained. His hair mesh was adjusted slightly to sit nicely around his new horns.

The Pale Devil - Astra’s Personal Edit

This is my own, personal edit for a more Tiefling-like appearance.

His colors have been adjusted for a more Tiefling-like aesthetic, with a paler, purple-hued skin tone, cool-toned red eyes with

dark sclera, a brighter, more cool-toned hair color, and a different horn color from the original version.

His facial textures have been adjusted, with more exaggerated dark circles, a handful of moles, a pinch more redness to

his midface, and paler, more blue-toned lips to achieve a more visibly undead aesthetic. He has also gained

facial ridges akin to those on Cambion’s faces, and his eyebrows are less dense with more visible individual hairs.

His face mesh has been adjusted, further exaggerating his high cheekbones, hollower cheeks, and jawline. His nose was adjusted, which will be

most obvious in his side profile, and his ears have been given
