Summon Gremmy the pet gremishka

Gremiskas are dangerous companions to travel with, but their magic-boosting presence is sought out by the bravest of mages.

Gremmy’s magical aura grants allies a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and spell save DC. On the other hand, their magic allergy causes them to undergo wild magic events, some useful, some less so. Does the benefit outweigh the risk? Only Tav can decide.

Gremmy starts her adventures scarcely better than a common familiar, but she grows a tad with experience.

When you wish to summon Gremmy forth just interact with her ball of yarn in your inventory and select the option to cast the summon spell.

Gremmy’s ball of yarn can be found in the tutorial chest or purchased from the Creche quartermaster.

Version 3. 0 has the following changes:

- Gremmy’s magic aura has been increased to +2.

- Gremmy’s claw damage has been slightly increased.

- Random outcomes have been rebalanced. Gremishka effects are still weighted but you should get more variety.

- Gremmy is no longer reactive outside of combat.

- Gremmy no longer reacts to cantrips.

- Gremmy is no longer guaranteed to produce an effect when unstable ends. The odds have been reduced to 50/50 that an effect will follow.

- Gremmy is a bit smaller.

Version 2. 0 - “the release version”

Gremmy is now living her best life. Updates going forward should be less frequent.

Highlights of Gremmy’s Magic Allergy in 2. 0

- the effects are a blend of standard gremiska effects and some appropriate wild magic sorcerer effects

- standard gremishka effects are weighted in the random outcomes, they will occur most often

- the split effect now has both hostile and friendly versions

- the panther polymorph is no longer permanent. It lasts ten turns.

- Gremmy retains Magic Allergy through all effects except when in panther form. It returns when panther form expires.

- regular gremishkas encountered in the game are left unchanged

Bonus: I've created a much less fun version of Gremmy that isn't so antisocial and has tamed her allergy so as not to hurt allies. The duplicates are now under your control and the explosion only affects enemies. Find it under optional files. Only use one version or the other. This version still only has the gremishka effects and can only be obtained from the tutorial chest for now.
