Shadowheart Missed Memories and Parent's Choice (Story Fix)

A script entry to add to your Cheat Engine table that will enable the flag for Shadowheart to have already remembered the three locations in Baldur's Gate:

1. Visiting Allister Marnley's grave

2. Seeing her graffiti on the wall

3. Seeing her secret room (mentioned by Nocturne).

This should be run during Act 3 BEFORE fighting Viconia and probably before entering the basement of The House of Grief,

Also, I've never run it before Act 3, so I have no idea what would happen if you run it in Act 1 or 2.

(Edit 1: I just tested it, it's kind of weird having Shadowheart discussing Baldur's Gate while in the Shadowlands. I obviously didn't continue on from there, so I don't know if the flag will stick up to releasing her parents.)

If done correctly there will be a new conversation to have with with Shadowheart where she discusses remembering the city.

If you're already in The House of Grief, the conversation will just be something along the lines of "I must save my parents."

Running this flag will also add the ability for her choice to be to let her parents go free when she sees them after defeating Viconia and being given the choice by Shar.

My first run through of the game and Shadowheart said that she's only just found her parents and wanted to free them.

My second run they turned into moonmotes.

My third run I saw all three places and she still didn't choose to free her parents and they became moonmotes again.

Both options are have their affects on the story, but I like to leave the choice up to Shadowheart.

This flag makes her choose to free them... which I guess means she doesn't have a choice anymore? WHAT HAVE I DONE!? I'M WORSE THAN SHAR!

Anyhow, to add this to your BG3 table, have your BG3 table open and then drag in my file, it'll ask if you want to merge it and click yes. It'll add it to the bottom of your list. Then either just run the script where it is or drag and drop it to the correct location under Console Commands > Register Commands > Set Flags.

If you just run my table by its lonesome it will work, but please make sure you fully load your saved game first and do the all loading of Cheat Engine stuff properly.

Edit 2: Some people seem to have issues with running Cheat Engine, so I've added a text file with the command to plainly enter it into Norbyte's Console Extender. All praise to Norbyte for the amazing thing that runs so many wonderful mods.

To run the command in the BG3 Script Extender Debug Console:

1) Run the game.

2) Load your saved game (fully!)

3) Alt-tab to the console

4) Press enter on your keyboard to begin "Entering server Lua console"

5) Next to the S >> paste my command from the text file included in the 7z and hit enter.

6) Done and enjoy!
