Selune's Tears - Harper Geraldus as an Endgame Summon

In the vanilla game if you stand up for Harper Geraldus and convince Jaheira to let him stay, then you will get... a letter from him in the epilogue.

With this mod Geraldus will also join the Gather Your Allies variant Silver Harp Squadron as one of the summonable allies.

The Details:

• []You need to use the Silver Harp Squadron class action to summon Geraldus.[/]

  []He will be summoned along with 2 other harpers. [/]

  []He will be level 10, will equip a Longbow +1 and Scale Mail +1.[/]

  Notes:

  I've always been disappointed that Geraldus never showed up later in the game if you stood up for him. There's potential to make that choice really matter. Maybe he deserves a chance? Maybe Jaheira is right and it is too dangerous, and he's too inexperienced?

  Now you get to make that choice again in the final battle. Do you stand by what you said to Jaheira previously, and call on Geraldus to fight with you (even if that means he might die)? Or will you bench him instead?

  How do I stand up for Geraldus?

  This is all in the vanilla game, this mod doesn't change anything here.

  • []You need to bring Jaheira with you when you go to the Harper safehouse in the basement of Danthelon's Dancing Axe. [/]

    []When Jaheira is speaking to Geraldus after the confrontation, you will get the opportunity to offer your opinion.[/]

    []Choose either of these dialogue options: "No one can make that choice for him. Not even you, High Harper." or "Wait, Jaheira. You're acting like this is his fault - it's yours." [/]

    []Complete the rest of Jaheira's quest-line The High Harper. This is a requirement for the Harpers to be available as endgame summons.[/]

    Installation Notes:

    • []This should be installed before you enter High Hall. [/]

      []Can be uninstalled at any time, but if you've already passed the Watch Citadel (area where all the allies are gathered in High Hall) then Geraldus will remain as a summon.[/]

      Compatibility:

      • []Not compatible with any mod that overrides Geraldus' root template. This mod changes Geraldus into a global character (this allows the game to spawn him in more than one level). [/]

        []Will likely conflict with mods that add new Silver Harp Squadron summons. I don't think there are any presently, but a compatibility patch can be made in the future if necessary.[/]

        []I can confirm that  Call Your Companions, Hope once More and Mizora always joins Gather Your Allies are compatible.[/]
