Scribble's Halflings - Short and Stout

Another early mod idea of mine finally coming to fruition: fat halflings! It's no secret that they, as a race, are intended to be hobbits. Enough said.

For the moment, this only covers body type 1, as BT 2 actually does have a bit of pudge to it. BT 2 may be added in the future, but for now I want to focus on adding more clothing options for this version.

Every outfit in the game must be refit manually, so for now the only ones that fit properly are the starting armors, halfling underwear, and the default camp clothing. More will be added. As for the other items, most clothing overrides the body underneath it, so most items will actually simply hide the body and look vanilla. Ones that show more skin will instead show the body clipping through.

Technically this mod should replace other halflings like Roah Moonglow, but as her outfit has not been added to the mod, she will show vanilla for now.

Installation:

Main file: Download .zip, drag into inactive mods on BG3 Mod , then drag to active mods, save load order, and export.

Unique Tav version: You must download the main file as well or you will only get Tav's body and none of the clothing. Make sure the main is after unique tav in your load order (further towards the bottom) before saving.

Download the Unique Tav .zip and extract the files using Windows' native extract tool or something like WinRAR. Navigate to your Baldur's Gate 3 game folder. For Steam, this will generally be in an area such as C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3. After that, click on the data folder.

Here you will see a folder called Generated. Drop the Generated folder you unzipped into your data folder. It will merge with the Generated folder that is already there and will ask to replace 1 (possibly 2) files. Select replace files. Done.

Uninstalling:

(note: do not uninstall mid-game)

Main file: In BG3MM, drag the mod from active mods to inactive mods, save load order, and export. Alternatively, you can right click and delete the mod entirely.

Unique Tav version: In addition to uninstalling the main file, you must navigate to the Unique Tav folder in your Baldur's Gate data folder and delete UNIQUE_HFL_F_NKD_Body_A. GR2, then rename UNIQUE_HFL_F_NKD_Body_A_Original. GR2 and delete _Original from the name.

The file is located in ...\data\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\unique_tav\BODY\HFL\FEMALE
