Scourge of Ilmater

I made these cantrips/actions bound to an item and not a specific class, so that anyone can use them. After all, there are many different classes you can play as a zealous and self-destructive follower of Ilmater. ♥

The weapon is technically a Flail, but you don't need proficiency in Martial Weapons to wield it. It would be a scourge/short whip, if there was a model for that in the game. Even Abdirak doesn't have a proper whip :(

The flail only deals 1d4 base damage, but the special actions it grants may be very useful in desperate situations ^^

Though for monks it falls into the category of "monk weapons", so the damage scales with monk class level, same as the damage of your unarmed attacks.

The videos still show the old version, but it works the same, just with a bit more damage against enemies, and some more features.

Updated version with expanded actions. The flail is now a Light weapon, and can be dual wielded and equipped in the off-hand.

SELF-FLAGELLATION

Flagellate yourself to motivate you and your allies, applying Heroism for 10 turns. It makes you and your allies immune to Fear and grants 5 temporary hit points each turn.

You can use it to distract Shadowheart from her fear of wolves, too. :D

The spell is a concentration, so you may need to flagellate yourself again to reapply Heroism if you lose concentration!

It will also (not as a concentration) remove any Curses and Hexes affecting yourself.

Damage on self scales with your character level:

Level 1-4: 1d6

Level 5-9: 2d6

Level 10-12: 3d6

TEN-TIMES MARTYRED CHAMPION

Down yourself to heal your allies, harm your enemies, and grant your allies (and yourself, if you survive) an additional 1d4 Radiant damage to their weapon attacks for ten turns.

Healing on allies is always 3d12.

The Radiant damage on enemies scales with your character level:

Level 1-4: 1d12+24

Level 5-9: 2d12+24

Level 10-12: 3d12+24

The spell roll uses your standard spellcasting modifier. On save, enemies take half damage.

Apart from costing an Action point, there is intentionally no limit on how often you can use the actions. The limit is in your own sense or nonsense :3

These actions are perhaps comparable to Lathander's Blessing from the Blood of Lathander, that heals you, and to a lesser degree your allies, if you get downed; and Blood Sacrifice from Abdirak's Ritual Dagger, that grants you The Pain Maiden's Blessing if you hurt yourself or another person.
