Simply visually alters some of the gloom stalker abilities.
Dread ambusher now looks like a fighter's menacing attack, so no more yellow-green magic and leaves. Umbral shroud now uses monk's cloak of shadow effect. Stalker's flurry effect (leaf burst) was removed, you kinda can see when you miss, and the game gives you a hint that an additional attack is now available anyway. Hunter's mark now looks like a true strike spell, casting with red eyes etc, but there's still a green cross over the target's head, to differentiate between the two.

Alt version - everything the same as the main version plus hide in plain sight uses vfx from the trickery domain, dread ambusher can possibly frighten the target and with Favoured Enemy - Bounty Hunter your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 while attacking marked creatures instead of disadvantage on ensnaring strike saving throws.
To install extract GloomRangerVFX.pak into %LocalAppData%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods, same folder you also may need the mod fixer file, move the mod from inactive to active in BG3 mod manager, File - Save order, play.
