📋 About This Mod
Keeps only the quivers from Elven Weaponry, removes all bows, and rebalances them with small, vanilla-like bonuses.
Almost Vanilla: Quivers
A lightweight quiver-only mod that keeps wearable quivers useful without turning them into build-defining gear.
This mod is built around a simple idea: quivers should feel like small adventuring accessories, not a new power system. It keeps only the dyable quivers from Elven Weaponry - Longbows and Quivers, removes the bows, and gives each quiver tier a modest always-on passive bonus that fits beside vanilla equipment.
What this mod does
Quivers only
- Removes all bows from the original source mod.
- Keeps only the quiver item line.
- Does not add bow spells, bow passives, combat powers, crates, rings, or crafting mechanics.
Dyable quivers only
- Keeps only the dyable quiver variants.
- Removes duplicate non-dyable variants.
- Keeps the item pool cleaner and easier to understand.
Almost-vanilla bonuses
Common - Hunter Quiver
- +1 Survival
Uncommon - Ranger Quiver
- +1 Perception
Rare - Moonranger Quiver
- +1 Initiative
Very Rare - Shadow Hunter Quiver
- +1 Survival
- +1 Perception
Legendary - Quiver of Anariel
- +1 Survival
- +1 Perception
- +1 Initiative
These bonuses are always active while the quiver is equipped. They do not require combat, do not require a specific bow type, and do not trigger hidden effects.
Design philosophy
Almost Vanilla: Quivers is meant for players who like visual flavor and small utility items, but do not want obvious power creep.
The mod avoids:
- damage bonuses
- new active abilities
- combat-triggered mechanics
- conditional stacking
- burst effects
- build-defining synergies
- sudden power spikes
The result is a small accessory-style item line that stays useful without becoming mandatory.
Gameplay impact
These quivers are intended to feel like minor stat accessories. They are useful, but not essential. They should not change your build, your combat loop, or your party balance.
