Prismortalis - A Dark-Fantasy Spellblade

The Prismortalis is both an individual and a doctrine.

At its center is a singular weapon, a dagger also called Prismortalis, which serves as a prison, conduit, and covenant. Within it reside multiple ancient and ominous entities that span time and space, each bound to a specific trait, philosophy, and color of the spectrum. These entities are not passive sources of power; they are willful, opinionated, and demanding, shaping how their strength manifests in the world.

Those who wield the dagger become known as Prismortalis. To outsiders, they are a secretive order, whispered about as a cult that traffics in forbidden light. In truth, the Prismortalis are executioners and tacticians, trained to fracture their enemies mentally and physically before delivering deliberate, ritualized ends. Their combat doctrine values preparation, positioning, and timing over brute force or reckless aggression.

The Prismortalis does not command the entities within the blade. Instead, they borrow power through uneasy pacts, much like a warlock, temporarily embodying an entity's nature to access its abilities. Each invocation carries influence and strength, pushing the wielder closer to the entity's worldview and methods.

Mastery is not measured by how much power is taken, but by how long control is maintained before the blade begins to push back.

To walk the path of the Prismortalis is to accept that light can be cruel, that execution can be beautiful, and that power is never free.
