New Githyanki Spots (REPLACERS)

THIS MOD CONTAINS

Nine different new, hand-drawn, githyanki spot options for your character creator needs. Note that these spots aren't selectable per se, they're automatically applied onto your character and you don't need to do anything other than installing the mod to get them. These shouldn't replace Laezel's or any other githyanki's spots, just your character's, but let me know if it does.

The designs might get warped or look different depending on the head preset you're using.

HOW TO INSTALL (AND UNINSTALL)

Because I didn't want to clog the Files tab, all of the spot options are in the same .zip file. There are two .zips, one for vanilla users and the other for Unique Tav users. Inside the zip file, you will find nine folders with every option inside its corresponding number. Pick the option you want, copy the Generated folder, and then drop it into C:/Program Files (x86)/Baldurs Gate 3/Data, or if your game is installed with Steam, C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data.

To uninstall: Simply delete the Generated folder. If you have any other files and want to remove this mod only, the filepath is Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\_SharedAssets\SHARED_Atlas\Resources (for vanilla users) or Baldurs Gate 3/Data/Generated/Public/Shared/Assets/unique_tav/FACE (for Unique Tav users).

Only install one (1) file at at a time!

COMPATIBILITY

Alright, brace yourselves for a very long explanation. Please read all of this before commenting that this mod doesn't work or that X is happening; if your issue can be solved by reading this section, I won't reply to your comment.

TLDR: the githyanki spots are stored in the same file as the in-game makeup; therefore, any custom makeup mods that you have will be overriden. This also applies if you're using Unique Tav, since that mod still has the same shared makeup and gith spots file. If given permission by the original mod author, I can make "compatibility patches" (for lack of a better term) that combine custom makeup collections and these custom gith spots. Feel free to ask for them, though I might decline for personal reasons depending on the mod.

If you have the knowledge, you have my full permission to edit the files in this mod to make them compatible with any custom makeup mods, all that I ask is that you don't upload them publicly. This tutorial might help.
