📋 About This Mod
UPDATE: As of February 2024, this mod will probably remain abandoned, since I've moved to bigger modding endeavors. Unless Larian decides to change the way tattoos work, the installation instructions remain the same and you'll encounter no problem if installed correctly.
this is probably the biggest mod i've ever worked on (yet)! as the title says, it's a collection of various custom tattoos i've made for use in the character creator. this mod is still a wip and will be updated periodically with new options, so feel free to track it if you're interested in what's coming.
VERY IMPORTANT DONUT SKIP!!11!
(aka please read this before installing or commenting anything)-
[]these are tattoo replacers, they don't add any new standalone tattoos; therefore, it will be incompatible with any other mods that edit the cc tattoos file (Skin_Atlas_Head_SHR_Tattoo_A_MSK1. DDS). only install one file at the time with the option you want. all of the options are detailed in the image gallery and replace tattoo 37. there's still no way to add completely new tattoos that i know of, sorry :(

]they work with all races and body types, but depending on the face preset or race (tiefling, half-orc, etc) there might be some slight deformation or parts of the tattoos that are obscured by horns. there's only one tattoo file for all races so i couldn't find a workaround. you can see some examples in the image gallery.[]feel free to modify/alter these as you see fit but please ask me for my permission first.

drop the "Generated" folder into C:/Program Files (x86)/Baldurs Gate 3/Data, or if your game is installed with Steam, C:\Program Files
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data. to uninstall, simply delete the folder and the cc tattoos will go back to normal.
