📋 About This Mod
I've always loved games with cooking systems, like Pathfinder: WoR, where food consumed the night before can provide additional bonus for battles the next day. Unfortunately, in BG3, food is just food, it can only be used to restore health and spell slots during a long rest.
So I used the crafting system (thanks to the tutorial shared by JWL Crafting Framework) to fulfill my own wishes.
The foods and drinks crafted by the Mod have unique StackIds, allowing them to be used together with Elixirs.A character can only benefit from the effects of one food at a time,
consuming food immediately cancels any active effects of previously consumed food. (Same applies to drink.)
Food lasts for 20 turns, drinks for 10 turns. Because they have different StackIds, they can both work at the same time.
If you use food and drinks that provide temporary HP boosts simultaneously, they will affect each other.
It might result in a reduction of the temporary HP boost you receive.
Installation & Uninstallation:
Choose the version you want to install.nstall using BG3 Mod Manager.
In-game Version: You can get items both from Tutorial Chests and while playing the game.
Tutorial Chest Version: You can ONLY get items from Tutorial Chests.
100Turn: Food lasts for 100 turns, drinks for 50 turns.
Install using BG3 Mod Manager.
Before switching versions, please manually delete .pak file located in .\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods
Both versions can be switched between each other. However, once Mod items have been generated in treasure chests, even if you switch to the Tutorial Chest version, you will still find Mod items in treasure chests and NPCs until you enter the next chapter or next map.
If you're using the In-game version, I highly NOT recommended to uninstall this Mod in mid-game, IT WILL DEFINITELY RUIN YOUR SAVEFILE.
