📋 About This Mod
"Damage Rider Sources" are damage bonuses that trigger other damage bonuses to apply again, which can lead to huge combinatorial damage.
This mods aims to remove them, so that you can play the game as intended, without unexpected damage bonus combinations.
The changes in this mod are a combination of Larian's DRS removals in Honour Mode, and the further DRS removals in the Item and Spell Bug Fixes mod (credit to Rydiak).
I recommend placing this very near to the top of your load order, but it must be after Item and Spell Bug Fixes if used.
This ensures other mods can override it and are not broken by these changes - they might re-add DRS but I think this is better than having broken/spells and abilities.
Two versions are provided - these are identical except that one lists Item and Spell Bug Fixes as a dependency, which makes sure the game loads this mod after I&SBF. Recommended to use the I&SBF version if you're using I&SBF, otherwise use the standalone version. Use only one.
You can use this mod with or without I&SBF. In honour mode I&SBF will add the DRS removals that Larian missed from Honour mode, so you don't need this mod. You should use this mod if you want to remove DRS and are not using I&SBF, or are playing in non-Honour with I&SBF.
