📋 About This Mod
📢 Mod Recommendation 📢
👉 Unsoiled 👈
Unsoiled provides full NPC cleaning in a single package. It uses Script Extender and does a more thorough job than my individual per-NPC edits. It's also fully compatible with NPC visual overhauls. Check it out!
Rolan and Nine-Fingers are only cleaned after certain story events though, so this mod is still needed for them (for now).
There's a lot of characters in the game that are just covered in dirt, and that's fine. Some of them though... really should be clean.
This mod cleans them up.
NPCs Cleaned:
Nine-Fingers Keene
Nine-Fingers will be clean when you first meet her in the Guildhall.
She may get a little bloody during story moments, but she will wash up later.
Quartermaster Talli
Tali is no longer covered in dirt.
Kagha has a small amount of dirt and blood removed.
Auntie Ethel
Ethel is no longer covered in dirt.
Ethel might be sweaty, similar to Tali (on existing saves). If you start a new game the sweat will be gone.
Nothing seems to get rid of sweat in existing saves except making the character wet, or applying the "wet" status. Once they are dry the sweat reappears.
Rolan's bruises are healed and he's no longer bloody.
This will only happen if Lorroakan is defeated. Immediately after the confrontation with Lorroakan, Rolan will be slightly healed. One long rest later he will be completely healed. If you choose to side with Lorroakan against Aylin, then Rolan will remain bruised and bloody.
Roah Moonglow
Roah has a small amount of dirt removed.
This is an ongoing project, new characters will be added as I notice them. Please let me know of any characters that you

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge download count (94k) shows it's a go-to for cleaner NPCs.
- Lightweight and focused—does exactly what it says.
- Recently updated (March 2026), so it's likely compatible with current game versions.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 84 endorsements—maybe not as community-vetted as other visual mods.
- Purely cosmetic—if you wanted gritty realism, this isn't for you.
For players who hate the grimy look of NPCs and want them to look fresh out of the shower. Skip if you enjoy the post-apocalyptic filth aesthetic or want more than a texture cleanup.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager, just drop the file in and activate—no load order fuss.
- Check if the mod conflicts with other texture overhauls that also touch NPC dirt.
- Since it's a texture replacement, you can easily remove it if you change your mind.
