  Circle of the Claw gives you access to very powerful Primal Wild Shapes and the Feral Slash ability after attacking (similar to Monk's bonus unarmed strike). There is three major caveats with this:

  • []You must cast a spell costing spell slots to unlock the ability to enter Primal Wild Shape

    []The Primal Wild Shape only lasts for 2 (later 3) turns

    []Primal Wild Shapes do not count as new health bar, you gain some temporary hitpoints, but if you die in Primal Wild Shape, you will be downed

    Primal Wild Shapes can be maintained for additional turns by expending Wild Shape Charges, every turn costing one charge.

    Additionally, you gain Scimitar Expertise, adding your proficiency bonus to your attack and damage rolls, when you are wielding a scimitar in both hands. You also gain additional benefits from wielding a Flame Blade (which is a scimitar).

    Highly recommend using my Druid Wildshape Items mod, as it adds several druid-centered scimitars for this subclass.
