Astarion's Beautiful Elegant Tent

Astarion's regular tent is really a bit awful lmao, with a stretcher for a bed and dirty rags all over the place. ^^; There are some lovely companion tent replacer mods already (like the ones by AntifaLafel and Karalyn), but since I possess the power to create my own personal version that is slightly different, I did ♥

I'm sharing it here so other people can enjoy it too and get more different options to choose from :)

I don't plan to make edits to the other companions' tents - apart from a special "Trashy Companions' Tents" mod for everyone, to use in early Act 1, that I'm working on right now. Astarion just has a very special place in my heart, and his normal tent is so much worse than the others lol.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod is (maybe obviously) not compatible with any other mods that change the appearance of Astarion's tent (i.e. can't be used at the same time), since they will add items in the same places as I did.

So unfortunately merged versions of companion tent edits cannot be used together with this one! But ones with individual files for each companion tent can be mixed and matched.

This is compatible with mods that edit the camps overall (unless those cover up Astarion's camp spot, which would be weird), as well as with mods that add tents and things to the camps in other places that don't interfere with Astarion's camp spots.

The companion tents are each their own independent little mini levels in the game files, that get inserted into the camps if the companion is present.

And it is fully compatible with HyperspaceTowel's extremely important mod Sit With Astarion ♥

INSTALLATION

This mod can be installed at any point in your playthrough.

Since it doesn't add anything new to the game, it is safe to deactivate and uninstall at any point, too.

I made sure the added chests are empty, too, so you won't even get any leftover container contents when you remove this mod. ^^

- Get BG3 Mod Manager if you don't have it yet

- Drag the file into BG3 Mod Manager

- Add the file to the left hand list of Active Mods

- Click "Save Load Order To File"

- Click "Export Order to Game".
