Astarion Smooth Tweak by Katarsi

Smooth sculpt of Astarion's head with complementary textures.

No bite marks.

Colors of eyelashes and eyes are tweaked.

Details:

Cheeks are ironed, lower part of the face is slightly lifted, the front of the face is less pointed outward, ears are closer to the head, eyelashes are elongated.

Much of Astarion's "grinch smile" is preserved, and even though I wasn't able to retain all his native facial animations, I've done everything that is currently possible to keep the spirit of his expressions.

I wasn't able to adjust the upper ear piercings because their rotation kept getting out of whack. Piercings on the upper part of the ear will be slightly detached, but the rest are fine. Fixed.

I got rid of most of the blemishes by editing default textures, and textures made by Bishounen159 have been a great help and inspiration. I have acquired permission for using their textures mostly to tweak the brow and eye area.

Eyelashes are following the default hair and brow color more closely, without being too bright.

Eye color is slightly brighter, illuminated with golden shade around the pupil.

If you are using Appearance Edit Enhanced with Origin addon, I suggest you also use Astarion Character Creation Camera Fix so you could zoom-in Astarion in CC, as well as Origin Color Swatches Unlocked which gives you options in CC to choose default colors of skin, eyes and hair for Origin characters.

* My screenshots are made with Astarion's default colors, alongside my tweaked eyelashes and eyes. No makeup nor hair highlights. I also use Less Wrinkled Expression (similar to vanilla), so expressions may appear even smoother than they would be with default wrinkle map.

Some comparison screenshots may not be perfectly aligned.

The mod is offered as-is. I do not plan on making any drastic edits to any aspect of this mod, save for technical reasons. I also don't plan to make the mod available on Mod.io.

Installation

There are two options available:

- .pak version which should be installed with your Mod Manager.

- Loose version which you unzip and drop the files in your BG3 directory.

Do not use both.

With loose version, you can choose what you install.
