Modern Pinup Cards

This is a texture pack that replaces vanilla cards with modern pinup girl art.

It's just like my Vintage Pinups mod, but with modern style pinup art, mostly by or in the style of Keith Garvey

Steamodded for Balatro is required to run this mod.

This mod has been tested to work when it's the only mod running in the game. If textures don't load, you have a conflicting mod. If you have a conflicting mod, you can do a workaround by replacing the image from the conflicting mod, with the image file from this mod.

How to install:

After you have Steamodded installed, you should have a new folder named "Mods" where your other Balatro mods are/will be stored. This folder should be where your Balatro app data is saved.

Manually save the file to the Mods folder and extract the zip as a folder, then load the game.

High Contrast Cards Added to Optional Files

High Contrast Version doesn't install like the regular version, so please follow directions below:

Method 1 - Add high contrast cards directly to Balatro.exe

1. Find Balatro. Exe

2. In 7-Zip, Open Balatro. Exe archive

3. In Balatro Archive select Resources, then Textures, then 2x, extract file 8BitDeck_opt2.png (1x and 2x) and save as a backup (in case you want to revert to original later)

4. Drag and drop the 2x texture "8BitDeck_opt2.png" from High Contrast Version over to the archive and overwrite

5. Navigate to the 1x folder and repeat with the 1x "8BitDeck_opt2.png"

6. Close archive and the high contrast cards should appear when you run Balatro

Method 2 - Replace the original Modern Pinup Cards with High Contrast Cards

1. Install the original version of the mod normally

2. Replace the original 1x and 2x images from Modern Pinup Cards with the images from the High Contrast version (rename files to ModernPinupCards.png)High contrast cards will appear in the regular slot using this method
