Perfect Pa'li (Direhorse) - The Camera and Movement Overhaul

Since I started playing the game, I’ve always felt that the Pa'li (Direhorse) riding experience needed just a few refinements, specifically regarding the camera positioning and the overall responsiveness of the mount. While I’ve experimented with other mods that address these areas, I found that they either didn't quite capture the balance I was looking for, or they went a bit further than what I personally wanted for my own playthrough.

Because of this, I decided to dive into the engine files myself. Thanks to the invaluable knowledge shared within the AFOP modding Discord community, I spent time learning how to navigate the game’s code. After some deep dives into hex editing and countless hours of tedious trial-and-error testing (restarting the game more times than I’d like to admit), I’ve put together this mod to bridge that gap.

My goal here was to stay true to the "Vanilla+" philosophy: fixing the most common frustrations and adding a bit more fluidity to the ride, all while ensuring the Pa'li still feels like a believable, grounded creature within the world of Pandora. I hope this provides the balanced, polished experience you’ve been looking for as well!

🎥 Centered Camera

The vanilla game aggressively pushes the camera to the side. This mod brings you back to the center for a more immersive and comfortable ride.
