📋 About This Mod
Description
Should work with either snowdrop or raindrop modloaders. I'm currently using raindrop.
This mod randomizes unnamed adult/elder na'vi npc's so that there isn't a bunch of clones in one camp. They will still have the same voices. Covers Aranahe, Zeswa and Kame'tire. NPC's will change as well, so if you visit hometree and look at the na'vi laying down on ikran landing, she will be different later on.
Installation
1. Unzip the folder, then move the 'blue' folder to this path:
Ubisoft users: Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\AFOP
Steam users: Steam\steamapps\common\AFOP
If it doesn't let you place blue in and merge with your existing folders automatically: open up your existing blue folder and the mod's blue folder, then move 'baked' into your existing blue folder. If you already have 'baked', repeat the same thing and move 'characterart' - repeat until you find a folder you don't already have.
To find the Ubisoft folder:
1. Go to your library and right click AFOP - select 'manage' > 'properties'
2. Select installation in the list on the left - Installation directory is where your folder is, you can 'open folder' here too.
To find the Steam folder:
1. Go to your library and right click AFOP - select 'properties'
2. Select 'installed files' in the list on the left
3. Click 'browse', it will open up your directory
Known Issues
If you're having issues getting it working, please join the AFOP modding discord, I rarely look at nexus outside of uploading and you're likely to get a reply there quicker (from me or others that can help) - there is a bot in the server that autobans accounts that are less than 48 hours old, please keep that in mind before joining
Author's note
A small gameplay mod for Baldur's Gate 3 that randomizes unnamed NPCs to prevent identical clones appearing in camps. With 18 endorsements and 482 downloads, it's a niche fix for players bothered by visual repetition. Last updated July 2026.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solves a real immersion breaker—seeing five of the same face in camp is jarring
- Tiny mod, easy to drop in and forget
- Recent update (July 2026) means it's likely compatible with current patches
⚠️ Cons
- Only 18 endorsements—small user base, so less community testing
- Only affects unnamed NPCs; named characters still look the same
For Baldur's Gate 3 players who notice and hate NPC cloning in camps. If you're a roleplayer who wants every character to feel unique, this is a quick fix. Skip if you don't care about visual repetition or want bigger gameplay changes.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple mod, just drop the file into your Mods folder (usually under AppData/Local/Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3/Mods).
- Make sure to enable mods in the game's launcher before loading your save.
- If you use other mods that alter NPC appearances, load this one after them to avoid conflicts.
