Enhanced Ikran Flight Physics Mod (Last update 04.08.2026)

There are six versions of the mod available in the File section.

There are 3 speed versions: 1. 35x Vanilla speed, 1. 75x and 2. 2x speed.

Each speed version has two variants: the Default variant and the No Hover variant.

The No Hover variant almost completely disables this changes:

--"After takeoff, the Ikran remains in Hover mode and can move using the W, A, and D keys. It will not transition into Glide until reaching glide speed or pressing the Space key."

--"If Ikran reaches a critically low speed, it automatically transitions from Glide to Hover."

- Additional fixes for rare Wing Flap animation conflicts.

v1. 5. 4 upgraded 03. 08. 2026:

- Adjusted flying rules. Lowered the speed threshold for High-Speed Burst activation for better visuals.   

- Increased fishing height from 1. 5m to 2. 0m, as the lower value didn't seem to apply correctly. (Vanilla default is 5m.)  

- Added new lower-speed versions for players who prefer a slower flight experience: x1. 75 speed and x1. 30 speed. The previous x2. 2 speed version is still available.

- Potentially fixed some of rare Wing Flap animation conflicts and slowed down the climbing Wing Flap animation (still slightly faster than vanilla).

Mod Features & Changes:

--Lower initial takeoff height.

--After takeoff, the Ikran remains in Hover mode and can move using the W, A, and D keys. It will not transition into Glide until reaching glide speed or pressing the Space key.

--If Ikran reaches a critically low speed, it automatically transitions from Glide to Hover.

--Strafing speed in Hover and Glide has been increased, along with the roll distance (Shift+A/D), making those maneuvers actually useful.

--Flight speed has been increased, wing bursts are now more pronounced and noticeable, and the time required to reach maximum speed has been increased to create a more realistic acceleration curve.

--Air resistance has been reduced, but speed loss during turns has been increased.

--Horizontal mouse turns now trigger a more noticeable and appropriate Ikran banking animation, making the body tilt better match the direction and intensity of the turn.

--Aiming no longer reduces flight speed.

--Fishing height has been reduced from 5 meters to 2 to make it more realistic and challenging.

--Fishing cooldown reduced from 10 to 5 seconds.

--Dive speed at a 90-degree angle has been significantly increased, while speed at other angles has been increased more moderately.

--Slightly increased resistance during climbing.
