Co-Op Returns

Description

This mod restores the co-op collectible behaviour that existed before Ubisoft added world-owner restrictions to Bellsprigs and Tarsyu Saplings.

With the mod installed:

- Both players can interact with the same Bellsprig.

- Both players receive the permanent +3 maximum-health increase.

- Both players can interact with the same Tarsyu Sapling.

- Both players receive the skill point.

- The guest's upgrades remain after leaving co-op and returning to their own world.

The fixes have been tested with both players interacting and with the guest subsequently loading their own save.

Install the mod on both players' PCs.

## Installation with Vortex

1. Install Vortex 2. 4. 0 or newer.

2. Install the (https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/1237).

3. Make sure Raindrop is installed and enabled in the extension's mod-loader settings.

4. Use Mod Manager Download, then install and enable the mod normally.

5. Install and enable it on both players' PCs.

The archive has a root-level `blue` folder and is ready for the extension's automatic installer.

## Manual installation

1. Install Raindrop.

2. Download and extract this mod.

3. Copy the `blue` folder into the main AFOP folder—the folder containing `afop.exe` or `afop_plus.exe`.

4. Allow Windows to merge the folders.

The two installed files should be:

`AFOP/blue/gameplay/genericinteraction/planimal_healthboost_interaction_once.mgenericinteraction`

`AFOP/blue/gameplay/genericinteraction/touch_loot_source.mgenericinteraction`

## Uninstallation

Delete only these two files:

`blue/gameplay/genericinteraction/planimal_healthboost_interaction_once.mgenericinteraction`

`blue/gameplay/genericinteraction/touch_loot_source.mgenericinteraction`

Do not delete the entire `blue` folder if you have other mods installed.

## Compatibility

- Tested with the Steam version available on 6 September 2026.

- Conflicts with another mod that replaces either file listed above.

- A future game update may require this mod to be updated.

- This fixes Bellsprigs and Tarsyu Saplings. It does not claim to change every co-op collectible or quest reward.

- DTZxPorter for Hunter and the Raindrop mod loader.

NB: The original devs imply they removed this feature for a reason, one of which is to "prevent save-game conflicts". So use this at your own risk. I have tried it with my co-op compadre, and both of us are able to use the plants.
