MEGA-X PLATFORM

A craftable and movable version of Astroneer's large SOE/POI platform.

DESCRIPTION

The Mega-X Platform adds the large platform shown in Astroneer's planetary points of interest as a normal craftable platform.

Unlike the original POI version, this mod creates a clean, movable platform with no terrain, canister, debris, or attached loot.

  HOW TO INSTALL

  1. Close Astroneer completely.

  2. Extract the downloaded archive.

  3. Copy the following file:

  999-ZMegaXPlatform-5. 2. 0_P.pak

  4. Paste it into:

  Astroneer/Astro/Content/Paks/LogicMods/

  D:\Games\Astroneer\Astro\Content\Paks\LogicMods\

  5. Start Astroneer.

  6. Open the Research Catalog and select the Large Printer category.

  7. Unlock Mega-X Platform for 500 Bytes.

  8. Craft it using 3 Resin.

  REQUIREMENTS

  • []Astroneer PC[/]

    []A working LogicMods/UE4SS mod setup[/]

    []AstroModIntegrator is recommended for standard mod installations[/]

    The mod must be installed in the LogicMods folder. It will not work if placed in the normal Astroneer Content folder.

    UNINSTALLATION

    1. Close Astroneer completely.

    2. Delete this file from the LogicMods folder:

    999-ZMegaXPlatform-5. 2. 0_P.pak

    OPTIONAL CONSOLE SPAWN

    If you use the in-game developer console, the platform can also be spawned with:

    summon MegaXPlatform_BP_C

    This spawns the platform item directly. The Research Catalog recipe is still the intended way to obtain it.

    TROUBLESHOOTING

    If the recipe does not appear:

    • []Make sure Astroneer was fully closed before installing the mod.[/]

      []Confirm the .pak file is inside Astro/Content/Paks/LogicMods/.[/]

      []Make sure the file name is exactly 999-ZMegaXPlatform-5. 2. 0_P.pak.[/]

      []Restart Astroneer after installing the file.[/]

      []Make sure your LogicMods/UE4SS setup is working.[/]

      []Keep AstroModIntegrator installed if your mod setup uses it.[/]

      The recipe should appear under the Large Printer section of the Research Catalog as Mega-X Platform.

      COMPATIBILITY

      This mod is designed for the Astroneer PC LogicMods setup.

      The platform is based on a normal movable platform actor and does not replace Extra Large Platform C or the original POI platform.
