Empty backpack hotkey

Can we get a keyboard shortcut to empty the main 8 slots for a backpack? Automation is great, but you still have to manually drag everything out of the backpack after I come back from mining. A shortcut to drop everything on the ground so you can let auto arms get it would be great.

  How to install

  • []Download latest Cheat Engine from official site

    []Install Cheat Engine

    []Download EmptyBackpackHotkey.rar from files tab and extract EmptyBackpackHotkey. CT to any folder you like

    []Run the . CT file with Cheat Engine

    []Run Astroneer

    []Use options as described in How to use section

    How to use

    • []Once the Cheat Engine opened there should be a single main script

      []To enable hotkey: activate main script by ticking a box in 'Active' table column ('X' mark shoud appear)

      []To disable hotkey: deactivate main script by clicking a box again

      []While ingame open the backpack and press the hotkey (by default: 'Middle Mouse Button') to quickly remove items from backpack and place them to a container under the mouse cursor

      []Use default hotkey or adjust it using 'Set/Change hotkeys' in context menu of 'Hotkey for...' record

      []There are 8 records named 'Slot N' with 'X' mark in 'Active' table column. 'N' means slot number left to right and from top to bottom. Deactivate records corresponding to slots you don't want to remove items from.

      []If you use different screen resolution or FOV bias the mod may not work for you. You can manually adjust mod settings by editing main script code. To open editor use 'Change script' in context menu.

    Important notes
    • []I'll appreciate if you can test the mod with your game version and publish results. So I can improve compatibility.

      []This mod could crash your game if requirement didn't met.

      Known issues

      • []Script doesn't consider if the game window is active

      • Script doesn't consider if the backpack is open
