【 MOD PURPOSE 】

From official Astroneer reddit:

 What I would like to do is use the flattening tool to sort of "polish" the surface of the planet. In other words: preserve curvature to avoid ramps at the end of planes that are so called true flat. The flattening tool would preserve the height at which deformation starts but align rotation based on planet curvature as it moves.

【 HOW TO INSTALL 】

• []Download latest Cheat Engine from official site

  []Install Cheat Engine

  []Download Astroneer Cheat Table archive from files tab and extract . CT to any folder you like

  []Run the game

  []Run the . CT file with Cheat Engine

  []Use options as described in How to use section

  【 HOW TO USE 】

  • []In Cheat Engine activate Attach CE to game process script by ticking a box in 'Active' table column ('X' mark shoud appear)

    []Activate Tangent mod script. Each of the child scripts activates automatically. Don't deactivate them.

  • Ingame use terrain tool with alignment mod turned ON.

    【 FEATURES 】

    ❖ Works only when alignment mod turned on

    ❖ Automaticaly realigns deformation angle with the curvature of the planet

    ❖ Adjustable altitude step (default value = 50)

    ❖ Rounds deformation altitude to the nearest multiple of altitude step value

    ❖ Fixed deformation orientation: always horizontal

    ❖ Shows last deformation altitude in CE

    ❖ Freeze deformation altitude
