Unity Gameplay Tweaks

Description

Several game play tweaks to enhance Unity. Includes quicker loot time on bodies, unlimited eagle vision & reduction of crowd events in all world hubs. Set up to use ACU Fixes & Asset Overrides for ease of use.

1. Quicker Loot Time on Bodies - Reduce the loot time from 3 painfully long seconds to . 6 seconds. Just enough time for the animation to still look normal.

2. No Eagle Vision Limit & Reduced Highlight FX - Eagle vision now stays active until you deactivate it. Ally, enemy & object highlight is now only one second instead of seven seconds when you deactivate eagle vision. I think this is a fair trade off as you should only get EV benefits when it's activated. There's no cooldown timer so you can reactivate EV with no delay. This is similar to Syndicate & most of the other AC games.

3. Reduced Crowd Event Frequency (Extreme Settings) - The crowd events like "catch the thief" & "scare the bullies" have been greatly reduced in all world hubs. I've used mods like Less Frequent Paris Events & Calmer Versailles but still found the crowd events to be too frequent. 

I configured my own settings to make these crowd events as rare as possible. This also includes settings for the Franciade DLC hub. I don't know if it's possible to disable these events completely but you may go an hour or more without encountering an event.

Installation

Make sure ACU Fixes & Asset Overrides are installed. Download my mod. Place all the contents of the zip file into:

E.g. AC Unity \ ACUFixes \ plugins \ AssetOverrides \ UnityGameplayTweaks

E.g. AC Unity \ ACUFixes \ plugins \ AssetOverrides \ UnityGameplayTweaksCrowdEvents

Run the game. Open the ACU Plugin Loader (Insert Key). Expand AssetOverides.dll. Right click on UnityGameplayTweaks. Save config & save load order. Close the ACU plugin menu. See image here. 

Restarting the game is absolutely necessary to make sure the new settings of the mod are applied. The crowd events are a separate setting as some equipment rewards are tied to completing these events. Some players may want to have this setting disabled early game.

Compatibility

The mod was tested & used with Uplay (UbiConnect) version of Unity 1. 50. Used ACU Fixes & plugin Loader 0. 9. 2. Asset Overrides version used was 0. 1. 1.
