Master Assassin Custom Skins

Description

Adds six custom textures for the Master Assassin outfit. Set up to use Asset Overrides so you can select and change the outfits in game without having to unpack files. The colors are black, blue, brown, green, red & white.

Toned down the sheen / specularity of the outfit & changed the gold ornamentation to look more like steel or silver. Mods activated with Asset Overrides work in all world hubs so you don't have to pack multiple forge files.

Installation

Make sure ACU Fixes & Asset Overrides are installed. Download my mod. Place all the contents of the zip file into:

E.g. Assassin's Creed Unity \ ACUFixes \ plugins \ AssetOverrides \ MAOutfitBlack

Run the game. Open the ACU Plugin Loader (Insert Key). Expand AssetOverides.dll. Right click on the outfit color you want to enable (pick only one). Save config & save load order. Close the ACU plugin menu. See image here. You can now restart the game or you can use the Character Customization game menu to apply outfits.

To use the in game Character Customization to change outfits press Escape then navigate to:

Character Customization / Gear Loadout / Equipment / Outfits

Select a preset outfit that is NOT the Master Assassin outfit & equip it. Exit out of the menu & back in game. Your outfit will change. Now repeat the steps but this time select & equip the Master Assassin Outfit. You will notice that the new color will already be applied in the preview window. Exit back into game.

You will have to do these steps whenever you change an outfit color. As stated above a complete game restart will also apply the outfit color changes. Fast travelling to Versailles or Franciade will also apply the outfit change. It's just the way that Asset Overrides works.

Compatibility

The mod was tested & used with Uplay version of Unity 1. 50. There is a fork for ACU plugin loader & Asset Overrides so I am unable to test if it works with those versions or Steam Unity 1. 5. 1.
