The Most realistic 1868 fog

Do you remember watching old Sherlock Homes Mysteries or the The Hunt for Jack the Ripper from Hollywood's YesterYear's A city of London choked out on all that smog? How about reading the classics from that time were a Charles Dickens Called it London particular?

With Update 1. 4 I have Finally achieved the best mix of realism and game play mechanics This Reshade has shaders designed only for this game I made all 4 of them for just this game to pull off the ideal. That this was hell on earth London 1868.

By the end of this Reshade exerience I hope to part to you elders of the past and what they had to live though every singe day and night. A hell that has many nick names The London Particular, A pea-souper, The Devil's Breath, Black Broth, The Anthelion The Industrial Somther And lastly the Miasma

This is not about making it pretty it's about making it real.

 This was the age Of the height of U. K. in all it wonder the power, Industry and the Global Dominance Yet the saddest man made Disaster ever made upon themselves. For any Act of God at least for past had the Mercy of being short. No this Disaster cheated misery and despair at the vary heart of a nation that lasted more then 100 years from start 1830s lasting till 1952.

I made two more shaders for reshade they are called depth tint and Banded depth. what these 2 do is simulate a fog boundary line Banded tint now handles the color in the background in this way the up-close elements where the main character is there is full normal color as what you expect in light Fog. The next one is the Banded Depth this can set a band of bloom so you can make mid depth or any depth in this way you can set up so far a way lights only have slight bloom effect but the foreground lights are not touched. In this way the shader's interacts with the games own bloom levels in hopefully more natural way. When have the time I might make just one more shader.

I made falling ash and soot depth shader the new fx is reshade-shaders file. I then found a way to tone the overly yellow look and lowerd bloom to give dingy look. I have set for big screen you can feel free to mess with settings of the falling ash and soot to your liking. Its by depth as well so should not interfere with foreground.

This is not for everyone to be truthful it is for only me. I wanted a realistic looking fog of 1868 not the hardly nothing of original game fog that was way to white and way to far.

I honesty do not expect any one to down load this reshade at all.

This does make the game slightly harder to see in to the distance. Yet This is what I was looking for this when I play the game.

Since I read so much history of London of 1800s. In 1868 it was at it's highest amount air pollution that the people of London called pea souper fog. Yes at times it was even green tinted. For history nerds like myself This is why when it was clear day in London in the 1800s EVERY ONE took the day off. Yes it was such a rare phenomenon it was city-wide event a holiday . For just one day all that toxic soot and sulfur was not clogging up the sky.
