No Capes For Evie

Description

Hides the twenty four capes that can be equipped by Evie on her outfits. Equip your preferred cape as normal & the buffs will still be active. For some reason, lazy Ubisoft decided to add color customization for the outfits but not for the capes. Not to mention that some outfits just look better without the capes.

A mod was released back in 2019 that removes some capes but that version required Resorep. My mod makes hard edits to the cape meshes so only Anvil Toolkit is required.

Also includes an optional file to remove the kukri & holster from Evie's left leg. See image here.

Installation

Using Anvil Toolkit, unpack  dlc_14 / DataPC_14_dlc.forge (backup your file).

Place these modded files into into the unpacked DataPC_14_dlc.forge folder overwriting everything:

399_-_ACVI_CHR_P_EvieFrye_ULC_Cape22_LOD0.data

616_-_ACVI_CHR_P_ULC_Cloak01_LOD0.data

1832_-_ACVI_CHR_P_EvieFrye_Cloak00_LOD0.data

Now pack DataPC_14_dlc.forge. Play the game.

**If the capes are still visible then you may have to rename the file prefixes to match them in your unpacked forge. E.g. Using Anvil Toolkit search for:

ACVI_CHR_P_EvieFrye_ULC_Cape22_LOD0.data. Whatever number prefix is in your extracted folder is what you want my modded file to have.

Install Optional Remove Left Leg Kukri File

Using Anvil Toolkit, unpack  dlc_14 / DataPC_14_dlc.forge.

Place the modded file into into the unpacked DataPC_14_dlc.forge folder overwriting everything:

109_-_ACVI_CHR_P_KukriScabbard_LOD0.data

Pack DataPC_14_dlc.forge.

Compatibility

The mod was tested & used with Uplay version of Syndicate 1. 53.
