This fixes AC:Syndicate crashing to desktop if you have more than 30 CPU cores without needing to change OS/BIOS settings. Basically this patch lies to the game saying that only 24 cores are available.
>>HOW IT WORKS
This mod side-loads a DLL without needing to patch the original ACS.exe. The new DLL spoofs Windows CPU functions, tricking the game into thinking there are only 24 CPU cores.
>>INSTALLING
Download the ACSModFiles.zip file and open it. Copy the two contained files (both . DLL files) into your game install directory. You can find the game install directory in Steam by clicking the Gear icon, then Manage, then Browse Local Files:
One of the . DLL files will replace an existing one.
