📋 About This Mod
This mod compresses story cutscenes, starting logos and tutorial videos, which in original form take up 2,06 gigabytes. Thanks to this mod, the videos folder will be compressed to 692 megabytes.
This mod is created for saving disk space, primarily for those who play on small SSDs or HDDs, steam deck or other portable consoles. In general, where every gigabyte is important. My goal is to compress video files so that they are as small as possible while still maintaining the original quality. Without changing the video resolution or frames per second.
I made this for myself and decided to share it with those who are not satisfied with a big bloated files.
Re-encoded story cutscenes, starting logos and skills tutorial videos.
I decided to shorten the epilepsy, autosaving and inspired by disclaimer videos, because they can't be skipped and it's very tedious to wait for them to finish every time you start the game.
Installation:
Backup videos folder, in case you decide to revert back.
Unzip Assassin's Creed Mirage. Recoded Videos.zip to the root game folder, with overwrite.
Example: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Assassin's Creed Mirage
