📋 About This Mod
Fixes the insane stuttering issues by simply removing the horrible fullscreen implementation in Assassin's Creed 3
These games are mostly fine in terms of PC ports, except for some downright horrible Ubi meddling (almost every game has some sort of server issues or telemetry causing problems if not downright making it unplayable)
Assassin's Creed III is no different, however outside of the softlock online check (that can be circumvented with a launch option) it seems to only have a couple issues like alt-tabbing being busted and having a hardcoded fullscreen that no-one ever bothered trying to get rid of. This fixes that.
List of things that're actually changed
- Borderless Fullscreen
- Frame limiter to stop physics breaking in borderless windowed to replace the broken vsync
- Fixed a lot of issues surrounding alt tabbing and leaving the game
(This is the one where I can't say I've tested it a whole lot, mainly because it has so many version differences. I don't have the game on Steam, and I can only test Ubisoft Connect. Anything beyond that I cannot do for now.)
