📋 About This Mod
Xp Manager v1. 0. 0
=================
`Xp Manager` is a BepInEx plugin for ASKA that lets you level skills faster by multiplying the XP you gain.
You can set a global XP multiplier (for all skills) and optional per-skill multipliers for each proficiency.
Perfect if you want to speed up progression, reduce grind, or try high-level builds more quickly.
- Global XP multiplier (e.g. 2x, 5x, 10x) applied to all XP gains
- Individual multipliers per proficiency (woodcutting, stonecutting, crafting, combat, etc.)
- Works for all XP awarded through the normal game systems
- Optional detailed logging so you can see vanilla XP values vs. modified values in the BepInEx log
How It Works
------------
- The mod hooks into the game's XP award function and multiplies the XP amount before it is applied.
- It also hooks the internal `_OnProficiencyLevelChanged` callback to see when XP is applied to a specific proficiency.
- In your current version:
- The global multiplier is applied in `AwardProfficiencyPoints` (e.g. 1 XP → 10 XP when set to x10).
- The `_OnProficiencyLevelChanged` patch is used for logging (showing XP events and proficiency IDs).
Installation
------------
1. Make sure BepInEx (IL2CPP) is installed and working for ASKA.
2. Extract the contents of this ZIP file into your ASKA folder so that it merges into:
- `ASKA/BepInEx/plugins/XpManager/XpManager.dll`
- `ASKA/BepInEx/plugins/XpManager/manifest.json`
3. Start the game once.
4. The config file will be created automatically at:
- `ASKA/BepInEx/config/viktoriusssss. XpManager.cfg`
Configuration
-------------
Open `BepInEx/config/viktoriusssss. XpManager.cfg` with a text editor.
- Global multiplier:
- `GlobalXpMultiplier = 1. 0`
- Example values: `2. 0` (double XP), `5. 0`, `10. 0` (10x XP)
- Per-skill multipliers (examples, names may vary slightly):
- `WoodHarvestXpMultiplier` – woodcutting XP
- `StoneHarvestXpMultiplier` – stone/ore harvesting XP
- `CraftingXpMultiplier` – crafting XP
- `GatheringXpMultiplier` – general gathering XP
- `BuildingXpMultiplier` – building/constructing XP
- `FirekeepingXpMultiplier` – fire/maintenance XP
- `HuntingXpMultiplier` – hunting XP
- `SkinningXpMultiplier` – skinning XP
- `FishingXpMultiplier` – fishing XP
- `BlacksmithXpMultiplier` – blacksmithing XP
- `CarpentryXpMultiplier` – carpentry XP
- `FarmingXpMultiplier` – farming XP
- `MeleeCombatXpMultiplier` – melee combat XP
- `RangedCombatXpMultiplier` – ranged combat XP
- `CookingXpMultiplier` – cooking XP
- `ShamanicXpMultiplier` – shamanic XP
Each entry supports:
- `1. 0` = normal XP
- `2. 0` = 2x XP
- up to `10. 0` = 10x XP
The per-skill multipliers are prepared and will be used in future versions to fine-tune each skill independently.
Debug Logging
-------------
The mod writes helpful information into `BepInEx/LogOutput.log`, for example:
- When XP is awarded (`AwardProfficiencyPoints called: baseXpPoints=1 -> 10`)
- When the internal proficiency callback is triggered (`_OnProficiencyLevelChanged called: id=303, value=...`)
You can use this to:
- Confirm that the mod is active
- See the vanilla XP and the multiplied XP
- Map the numeric proficiency IDs to skills (e.g. which ID is woodcutting, which is crafting, etc.)
Compatibility
-------------
- Requires ASKA and BepInEx 6 (IL2CPP).
- Designed to be lightweight and only touches XP award logic.
- Should be compatible with most other gameplay and UI mods.
