# Survival Manager

A BepInEx mod for ASKA that allows you to control hunger and thirst consumption rates.

## Features

- Hunger Multiplier: Control how fast hunger decreases (0 = disabled, 0. 1 = 10% rate, 1. 0 = vanilla, 2. 0+ = faster)

- Thirst Multiplier: Control how fast thirst decreases (0 = disabled, 0. 1 = 10% rate, 1. 0 = vanilla, 2. 0+ = faster)

- Real-time Configuration: Change values in config file and they take effect immediately

- Compatible: Works with all game modes and characters

## Installation

1. Make sure you have BepInEx installed for ASKA

2. Copy the `SurvivalManager` folder to `BepInEx/plugins/`

3. Launch the game

4. Edit `BepInEx/config/com.viktoriusssss.survivalmanager.cfg` to adjust multipliers

## Configuration

The config file is located at: `BepInEx/config/com.viktoriusssss.survivalmanager.cfg`

### HungerMultiplier

- 0. 0 = Hunger disabled (no hunger depletion)

- 0. 1 = 10% of vanilla rate (eat once per day instead of every minute)

- 0. 5 = 50% of vanilla rate (hunger depletes 2x slower)

- 1. 0 = 100% of vanilla rate (normal game behavior)

- 2. 0 = 200% of vanilla rate (hunger depletes 2x faster)

- 3. 0+ = Even faster (for masochists)

### ThirstMultiplier

- 0. 0 = Thirst disabled (no thirst depletion)

- 0. 1 = 10% of vanilla rate (drink once per day instead of every minute)

- 0. 5 = 50% of vanilla rate (thirst depletes 2x slower)

- 1. 0 = 100% of vanilla rate (normal game behavior)

- 2. 0 = 200% of vanilla rate (thirst depletes 2x faster)

## Recommended Settings

### For Immersive Survival Experience

HungerMultiplier = 0. 1

ThirstMultiplier = 0. 1

This makes you eat/drink once per day instead of every minute, making the survival mechanics more realistic.

### To Completely Disable Survival Needs

HungerMultiplier = 0. 0

ThirstMultiplier = 0. 0

### For Increased Challenge

HungerMultiplier = 2. 0

ThirstMultiplier = 2. 0

## How It Works

The mod patches the internal lambda functions that calculate hunger and thirst change rates:

- `__InitalizeAttributes_b__73_0` - Controls hunger/food consumption

- `__InitalizeAttributes_b__73_1` - Controls thirst/water consumption

By multiplying the change calculation at its source, the mod provides precise control over consumption rates without interfering with other game systems.

## Troubleshooting

- Mod not loading? Check `BepInEx/LogOutput.log` for errors

- Changes not taking effect? Restart the game after changing config values

- Values still decreasing with 0. 0? Make sure the config file was saved and the game restarted
