Cave Respawner

Description

Cave Respawner provides host players with a safe, on-demand way to instantly and fully refresh any mine or cave in ASKA. When a mine is completely depleted of its resources and its hallways are mined out, you can regenerate all hallway walls, clear collapsed rubble, and respawn the lucrative ore nodes and crawler eggs at the node points with a single keypress. This eliminates the need to abandon exhausted mines or manually clear collapses, allowing you to sustain your settlement's metal and resource needs from your existing infrastructure.

Installation instructions

1. Ensure you have BepInEx 6 (IL2CPP build) installed for ASKA.

2. Download and extract the mod zip file.

3. Copy the MineRefreshMod.dll file into your game's ASKA/BepInEx/plugins/ directory (you can place it in a subfolder, e.g., ASKA/BepInEx/plugins/CaveRespawner/).

4. Launch the game. The mod will load automatically.

Main features

• On-Demand Hotkey Refresh: Stand near any mine entrance and press the hotkey (default: U) to instantly trigger the refresh.

• Native Wall & Resource Regeneration: Mimics the game's native caving and replenishment pathways by resetting the physical hallway structures (DigVolumes) to their pristine states, clearing collapsed rubble, and running spawners to regenerate ore nodes and crawler eggs.

• Proximity Safety Check: Scans the mine before executing. If any other player or worker is inside the mine when you press the hotkey, the refresh is blocked, and their name is displayed in-game to prevent trapping them.

• Host-Authoritative & Client-Safe: Gated on host authority to prevent multiplayer desyncs. Changes replicate to all connected clients over the network. Other players in your server do not even need the mod installed to see the refreshed mine.

• Fully Configurable: Generates a configuration file at BepInEx/config/com.askamods.minerefresh.cfg on first launch, allowing you to customize the hotkey, safety radius, maximum trigger distance, and item spawning toggles.

Requirements

• BepInEx 6. 0. 0 (IL2CPP build) for ASKA.

• Host/Server Authority: You must be the host of the co-op session or playing in solo mode to trigger the refresh.
