Desert Lands

Barren landscape based on elevation data from the Martian surface, used to create an earthly desert area. High plateau dominates to the east, with several prominent features offering key terrain that is protected while offering optimal emplacement for long range weapons. The high ground near the center of the map encompassing the LZ and Outpost offers many possibilies as objectives, but I have found the entire map is full of very nice locations. There are many ways to win on this map. There are wadis to protect infantry and short range assets, or alternately protect vulnerable armor for ambushes if the enemy MBTs outclass you. Alternately, lots of high ground to employ true standoff wepons, or masked hide spots to employ moderate range weapons on focused avenues of approach.
