An Unfortunate Predicament

# An Unfortunate Predicament # Defence mission for British (Player) vs USSR (Ai). ### Quick Description ### My first attempt at making a mission for AB2, so it is quite simple. The intent is a defence mission set during the opening moves of a Soviet attack on NATO. I've kept the setup quite simple, an infantry company with some supporting elements is attempting to stop an armoured column advancing. There is some flavour text in the in-game mission description. ### Possible Issues ### I could not quite work out how to script the AI (or if that is possible in AB2), so they initially follow waypoints (which sort of makes sense as the Soviet side is not expecting contact). This limits the replayability of the mission, but there are only so many ways the AI can plausibly respond anyway. I've done some testing regarding the objectives, however I could not find a way to make "exit map" objectives. So the objectives are described in the mission description and use the normal "occupy" objectives in-game. Some feedback would be helpful, as I learn how AB2 editor works. The main problem I can see is that the mission might be too small in scale as I am not used to making missions for AB2. Possibly it would make more sense to "zoom-out" the mission and have the player manage their reinforcements and the defences of the city at the end of the highway. That way I could use "real" occupy objectives for the AI. However, for my first attempt I wanted to make something smaller and more manageable.
