📋 About This Mod
Prototype-style Strangereal livery for the XFA-27 based off of early F/A-18 Full-Scale Development (FSD) airframes. For skin slot 7.
XFA-27 -Carrier Trial-____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This is a Strangereal FCU prototype livery for the XFA-27 heavily based on the first real-life F/A-18s used for full-scale development and testing. These F/A-18 prototypes carried a distinctive white-and-blue paint scheme and, at times, carried both Navy and Marine markings simultaneously.Thankfully, the recent timing of the AC8 reveal trailer provided lots of information for the general FCU marking style (FCU naval aircraft, at least).
Reference (and the skin name) was also taken in particular from the airframe used to conduct carrier trials/testing; the two emblems on the tail are based off of those of the USS Carl Vinson and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, two ships tested with the F/A-18.
The skin takes up slot 7 for the XFA-27.

Place the files you want to use in the AC7 game directory as follows:
ACE COMBAT 7\Game\Content\Paks\~mods\
If no ~mods folder is present then you can create one there.
