Standard Missiles (MSL) Active Enhancement Module for XFA-27

Previously seen on XFA-27 MSL Loadout mod, this mod grants XFA-27 the ability to enhance Standard Missiles for 5 seconds, triggered by Multiplayer Radio Commands, previously seen on XFA-27 MSL-loadout. 4 types of buffs are available, determined by the specific input used for activation. Only one type of buff can be active at a time.

The available buffs and activation input are as follows:

• []Multiplayer Radio Command - Up (DPAD-Up on Gamepads): Increase range and flight speed.

  []Multiplayer Radio Command - On (DPAD-Right on Gamepads): Increase damage and lock speed

  []Multiplayer Radio Command - Off (DPAD-Left on Gamepads): Increase homing angle, turn rate, and adds slight target leading

  []Multiplayer Radio Command - Down (DPAD-Down on Gamepads): Increase reload speed

  The current active buff will be shown as IEWS-like HUD effect, with different colors (matches the colors above)

  • []Can be applied to base loadout of XFA-27, or to various modded loadouts.

    []Also changes GUN to a PLSL-GUN-like weapon with similar damage profile as XFA-27's gun

    (This is necessary to bypass GUN FX bug that plagues some droptank-triggered weapons, which can also happen from activating the buffs)

  • Only work on MSL, MSTM, and QAAM (so MSL with AIM-9X mod version 0_1 - which changes its HUD name to QAAM - can still get the buff).

    Below are the list of supported XFA-27 loadout mods, shown to be compatible with in-game screenshots with active IEWS filter from the MSL buff module. Install guide can be found on individual articles for them.

    (Important: Some of the mods listed here have now been deleted or hidden, but patches are still provided for users who already have them and wish to keep using them along with this mod. Do not pester the authors to reupload or unhide them - they have their reasons)
