MiG-29A -Drehpunkt-

Livery for the MiG-29A Fulcrum inspired by post-Cold War Luftwaffe MiG-29G's. Comes in blank and Trigger marking variants for skin slots 1-6.

This is a three-tone paint scheme for the MiG-29A imitating the post-Cold War MiG-29G model in service with the German Air Force / Luftwaffe.

After the Cold War, the newly-reunified Germany found itself with former East German MiG-29A's - while rather incompatible with their other NATO gear, they were nevertheless able to find a niche for these jets. Thanks to a collaboration between MiG and DaimlerChrysler Aerospace, Germany was able to somewhat "Westernize" their Fulcrum-A's, creating the MiG-29G (its weapon loadout remained strictly ex-Eastern Bloc, however). They were easily recognizable among other Fulcrums as a result of their three-tone gray "Norm 90J" camouflage, bringing them closer in line with other Luftwaffe aircraft.

I decided to base this livery off of "29+02", which was somewhat unique among other MiG-29Gs for having both a false canopy on the bottom AND false air intakes painted on top.

The maintenance stencils and most markings are done in the Luftwaffe style while keeping the usual OADF two-letter tailcode system.

  As with my previous skins, textures use BC7 compression with mipmaps disabled to improve in-game quality. Let me know what you think and if you encounter any bugs.

  INSTALLATION:

  Place the files you want to use in the AC7 game directory as follows:

  ACE COMBAT 7\Game\Content\Paks\~mods\

  If no ~mods folder is present then you can create one there.
