📋 About This Mod
Skin for Urvo's F/A-18C mod depicting an early F/A-18A Hornet flown by the USMC's VMFA-314 "Black Knights" during the 1980s. For skin slots 7-12.
F/A-18C -Retro VMFA-314-
This is a recreation of F/A-18A, US Bureau Number 161710, used by the USMC's VMFA-314 "Black Knights" (yes, the Navy and the Marines had two squadrons that shared the same nickname). This is circa mid-1980s, very early on in the F/A-18's service, and as such it carries the old three-tone tactical paint scheme.
This is for skin slots 7-12 - that way you can use it with any of the aircraft's four loadouts.
Textures use BC7 compression with mipmaps disabled to improve in-game quality.

Place the files you want to use in the AC7 game directory as follows:
ACE COMBAT 7\Game\Content\Paks\~mods\
If no ~mods folder is present then you can create one there.
