F-14D -Spectre of Theve-

Low-visibility reimagining of the protagonist's plane from the upcoming Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve for the F-14D Super Tomcat. For skin slot 8.

Yeah... I couldn't help but jump on the bandwagon. Happy new year folks.

This is a low-visibility skin for the F-14D depicting the protagonist of the upcoming Ace Combat 8. It's based off of the US Navy 3-tone Tactical Paint Scheme and features the iconic Wing decal on the tail as well as the "Wings of Theve" scroll on the nose.

It has a few cool features including custom wear on the walkway panels, a dirty gunpowder smoke effect over the gun port, as well as additional shiny anti-corrosion paneling both on the wing and wing glove leading edge. (Not super realistic considering that the "CoroGard" was almost never applied on the wing glove IRL, especially not on a TPS-painted bird, but the additional shine does look neat)

With this skin, now you can have the chance to live up to (or even surpass...?) the legend of Jan Cope.

The skin takes up slot 8 for the F-14D - it's also compatible with Lanzerince's F-14D fuel tank mods.

INSTALLATION:

Place the files you want to use in the AC7 game directory as follows:

ACE COMBAT 7\Game\Content\Paks\~mods\

If no ~mods folder is present then you can create one there.
