📋 About This Mod
The first "CO" F-14A of USN VF-301 "Devil's Disciples", Bureau Number 158990. For the F-14A and F-14A Top Gun Maverick, skin slots 7 and 8.
F-14A -INFERNO 101-____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This skin depicts "INFERNO 101" / BuNo 158990, the first Commanding Officer's F-14A used by VF-301 "Devil's Disciples", a US Naval Reserve squadron. The airframe was an early Block 70 model and initially used for fleet testing with VF-1 "Wolfpack" in the 1970s before being placed into storage. When VF-301 started to transition from the F-4S to the F-14A, 158990 was among the airframes allocated.
Details include the stylized "ND" tailcode on the vertical stabilizers and right wing as well as the early "7-port" gun vents. Once I find the names stenciled on the canopy rails I'll update this skin to include them - unfortunately not too many good pics of this livery exist.
This takes up skin slots 7 or 8 for both the F-14A and the Top Gun Maverick F-14A.
