EW1 - Mako Multi-Mission Hypersonic Missile

SUMMARY

The Mako Multi-Mission Hypersonic Missile provides a tactical standoff attack capability for 5th generation stealth fighter, manufactured by North Osea Gründer Industries. Named after Mako shark, it is an advanced weapon system characterized with conventional missile design that allows affordable production in large quantity and rapid response operation in combat. The Mako is targeted toward strategic  military strike groups that are interested in acquiring hypersonic capability immediately.

Field testing of Mako -Experimental Weapon 1- begins on the current 5th generation fighters consisting of F-22A Raptor and F-35C -Stealth- to evaluate on their compatibility as a stealth platform. While the F-35C boasts sizable internal weapon bays to fit two tactical hypersonic missiles, the F-22A lacks sufficient storage space due to originating from an older time with a straightforward prospect of mounting special weapon air-to-air missiles as an air superiority fighter. Direction has been taken to rig external stealth weapon pods and substitute a standard loadout of four AMRAAM for one Mako.
