DESCRIPTION:
This is a single compatibility patch making sure (almost) all add-ons released here (and on ModDB) work with each other.
Inside the archive are two files: the PPDT and PWDT. The PPDT is the data table used to add aircraft to the hangar roster. The PWDT is the data table used to enable certain aircraft mods' Special Weapons selection.
This patch requires the Localization and SkinDataTable modules on my essential files. Without it the former, the planes would have funni names like Aircraft_Name_f14b. Without the latter, the add-ons' names would appear on the menu, but not the plane itself, OR the add-on planes would end up showing different planes, OR skin menu would show that there is no skins (and later crash your game). The SkinDataTable module also available in the non-ASS version or the ASS-version if you're using Additional Skin Slots
This patch and its essential files require an update every time a new add-on comes out. As such, make sure to install new updates every time for this patch and my essential files to ensure the add-ons work as intended. Do double-check current file version with the changelogs.
By default, the patch adds all available addon mods to the roster, regardless of whether they are installed. The game won't break if you don't select the ones you didn't install. Follow this guide if you want to remove the addon mods you don't want to use.
Lastly, I highly recommend installing this patch and its essential files, as well as the addon mods you want to use, manually. Numerous mod authors and users have reported that Nexus's mod manager shifts the mod files' loading priorities. This causes the game to not load this patch first and results in issues such as disappearing addons or incorrectly named skins.
