Faster Trams

Make facility trams actually worth riding.

Vanilla trams are about as fast as sprinting. This tiny UE4SS Lua mod speeds them up. Default is 4x vanilla — change it in one line if you want more (or less).

What it does

• []Speeds up GATE facility trams (the rail cars you call with Request Tram).[/]

  []Default multiplier: 4 (four times as fast as vanilla).[/]

  []Only touches tram movement. Walking, forklifts, security carts, SUVs, and platform carts are unchanged.[/]

  Requirements

  • []UE4SS for Abiotic Factor[/]

    Installation

    • []Install UE4SS if you have not already.[/]

      []Extract the FasterTram folder into:[/]

    AbioticFactor\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\
    • []Confirm you have this path:[/]

    ...\ue4ss\Mods\FasterTram\Scripts\main.lua
    • []Do not nest an extra FasterTram folder. enabled.txt is included, so you do not need to edit mods.txt.[/]

      []Restart the game (or Restart All Mods in the UE4SS console).[/]

      Configuration

      Open Scripts\main.lua. The first setting at the top is:

      local SPEED_MULTIPLIER = 4

      • []1 = vanilla[/]

        []2 = twice as fast[/]

        []4 = four times as fast (default)[/]

        Restart the game (or Restart All Mods) after changing it.

        Multiplayer

        Tram movement is decided by the host. Put the mod on the host (or dedicated server). Other players do not need it for the tram to run faster.

        Delete the FasterTram folder. Nothing is written to your save.
