V3. 0 EpicSpire's Quality ModSlot Boost redefines endgame gear customization by shattering the vanilla limit on mod slots, giving high-tier items the flexibility they deserve. Instead of capping at four slots for a Quality 6 Tier 3 weapon, this mod scales slot counts across every quality and tier combination, ensuring your best loot feels truly legendary. For example, a Tier 3 Quality 6 item now boasts six mod slots, while lower tiers receive proportional boosts—from Tier 0 Quality 1’s single slot up to Tier 3 Quality 6’s maximum. The result is a smoother progression curve that rewards investment in quality without breaking balance.

The mod applies universally to tools, weapons, and armor, including those added by other XML modlets, though heavy overhauls like Darkness Falls may conflict. Note that some weapon types skip tiers (e.g., spears jump from Tier 1 to Tier 3), so slot distribution follows the item’s actual tier, not a linear path. Armor is simpler: slots scale purely by quality, from 1 at Q1 to 6 at Q6, with primitive armor left untouched. Server-side only, so just the host needs to install it.

One caveat: existing items won’t retroactively gain slots—only newly spawned gear benefits. Starting a fresh game is recommended, though you can cheat in replacements if you prefer.
